Leadership
The Empactis leadership team brings deep and broad knowledge of employee health and engagement, occupational health, and organisational risk.
The team is led by CEO Matthew Bergmann-Smith, and includes employee health evangelist and expert Dr Steve Boorman, author of the landmark Boorman Review of the health and wellbeing of NHS staff, and Chair of the Council for Work and Health.

Matthew Bergmann-Smith
CEO
Matthew has extensive business experience having worked in production environments, product development, sales and at board level with a number of employers during his early business years.
He has worked in a diverse range of businesses, ranging from water sports clothing to medical technology, development and consulting. He believes that customer focus is the key to delivering technology and services that really work for the user and the customer.
Matthew Baldwin
Chairman
Matthew has been involved with Empactis since the beginning, initially as an investor and a Director. He became Chairman in 2015, following the successful sale of PMI Health Group Ltd.
As well as bringing extensive knowledge of the employee health market to the business, he has a proven track record of sales, profit growth and turnaround skills, having previously built-up and exited Anderton Concrete Products LTD and tripling the P&L of the already successful PMI Health Group.
Keith Williams
Commercial Director
Keith joined Empactis in July 2016. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of corporate finance experience. Keith is responsible for laying the commercial foundations and framework for the organisation, including spearheading ongoing sales and business development initiatives.
